The long wait is over... The Vegas shoot preview is here

A couple of weeks ago I was able to go down to Vegas and shoot the new photos that will be on donny.com for my father. To be honest I was quite frightened and nervous that I was the only photographer and that he was solely going to use just the photo that I had created for his publicity. I thought that this was a lot of pressure to put on a photographer that is still going to school and learning the ropes, but as the shoot went on through the day I was starting to feel a little more comfortable and excited about what was happening... I'm very excited with the outcome of the shoot and I think that this will be a start of what I hope to continue pursue.

Well I talked to the boss and asked him if it is ok to have some photos up on my blog and he said that I could. So here they are... consider yourself lucky, you might be the first to see them...

This is the first batch because I have more that I want to show... so a few more will be coming soon.

Wow, Brandon!!! You brought out the beauty (I hate to say this since you're his son, but) and the sexiness of your father in these pictures.

I applaud you, Brandon. You did a great job taking pictures of your father. I see why your father picked you. He could had picked anybody, but he trusted you.

Thanks for sharing these photos.

I forgot to add. I love the serious ones. With all the pictures I have seen of your father, the serious ones are my favorites.

I love the one with him in the purple shirt/tie and his jacket behind his back.

WoW!!!! Love'm all. Especially the last one. YOU have brought out not how old he is but that he still can turn a head and make a heart throb.

Brandon! You've got quite the eye for format and structure! I don't know if I'd be able to pick an absolute favorite, although there's something that's really pleasing to me about the photo of your dad in front of the old neon sign. :)

Now... where's the shot with the banana in his ear? ;)

Brandon you have really out done yourself, these are amazing photo's. How are we supposed to vote and chose just one? This is what is called cruel and unusual punishment,LOL. Ok seriously, keep doing what you do with photography it's awesome.

Brandon, I don't know why you were nervous about this shoot - you did a splendid job! You captured his professional side, serious side, playful side...and well, that handsome side always shows up with him! :)

All these photos are beautiful & they are extra meaningful because you can tell he trusted you & could be himself with you.

Hard to pick a favorite, but I think I like the 2nd one most as he looks so relaxed & playful!

Looking forward to seeing more!

Ok you may see him as your Dad -- but us fans see him differently and these photos are gorgeous! Having Donny Osmond as the subject I don't think a bad picture can be taken of this man. Thanks for sharing the photos. Good luck on your future as a photographer.

Absoulutley beautiful, I like the second one, purple shirt and coat over shoulder, however they are all fabulous. Keep up the good work. Thank you so much for sharing and thank you BOSS for letting Brandon share with us.

Brandon, you have nothing to worry about! You did an awesome job. And for the record, I think the best way to improve is to just do it. Jump right in the deep in and start swimming. Scary at first, but also exciting, and you will learn TONS more than sitting in a classroom (though sitting in the classroom can teach you a lot, too!)

Wow! Well done Brandon! Fab photos.

Hi Brandon, LOVE the photo's. Excellent choice of photographer by the BOSS there.....
T like the way you got just enough background in the bottom one,s but still keep the focus on the main subject.
My fave is the one in the black waistcoat but then they are all brill, keep posting them. :-)

You did a great job :)

You've definitely got the knack at bringing out the best features, lighting and angles. Like the backgrounds used. Your Dad is a perfect subject. It's great as a photographer knowing your subject well-and it shows in these photos. He's comfortable having you do the shoot. I think he'd better hire you if he does a tour book or needs CD jackets done.
